It depends upon what silver coin we are talking about. Do you want to know about the Morgan dollar’s ASW (actual silver weight)? Or perhaps you are asking about the Peace Dollar? The Morgan Dollar, Peace Dollar, and Liberty Seated Dollar contain 0.77344 troy ounces ASW (actual silver weight) of pure silver. The Eisenhower Dollar contains 0.3161 troy ounces ASW. The Silver Eagle Dollars are bullion coins and has 1 oz.0.999 fine silver.
